Every dog is different. That's why we've made our size guide as clear as possible — because the right fit isn't just about comfort, it's about confidence. If your dog feels safe and secure, they'll walk better. If you're unsure after reading this, drop us a message and we'll help personally.

How to Measure Your Dog
You'll need a soft fabric tape measure — the kind used for sewing. Measure snugly but not tight.
📏 Neck measurement
Measure around the middle of your dog's neck where a collar would naturally sit. Add 2–3cm for a comfortable fit — you should be able to slide 2 fingers between the tape and the neck.
📏 Chest (girth) measurement
Measure around the widest part of your dog's chest — typically just behind the front legs. This is the most important measurement for harness fit. Add 2cm ease for comfort.
Top tip: Always measure before ordering, even if you think you know your dog's size. Breed guides are a starting point — individual dogs vary a lot. When in between sizes, size up for anxious or sensitive dogs as a tighter fit can cause stress.

Our step-in harnesses come in XS, S, M and L — the same four sizes as our collars. All harnesses are 2.0cm wide.

Not sure between two sizes? Go by chest measurement — this is the critical fit point for a harness. A harness that's too tight across the chest can restrict movement and cause anxiety in sensitive dogs. When in doubt, size up.

Breed sizes are a guide only — always measure your individual dog. Senior dogs and those who have gained or lost weight may differ significantly from breed averages.

Our collars come in XS, S, M and L. All collars are 2.0cm wide and fully adjustable within each size range.

Collar fit check: Once on, you should be able to slide exactly 2 fingers comfortably beneath the collar. Any tighter and it may cause discomfort, especially for dogs with sensitive skin or anxiety. Any looser and it may slip over the head.

A note on anxious and senior dogs

Our products are designed with anxious, sensitive and older dogs in mind. A few extra things to consider when sizing for these dogs:

  • If your dog is noise-sensitive or reactive, always size up rather than down — a snug harness can increase stress during triggers.
  • For senior dogs with arthritis or reduced mobility, our step-in harness design means no lifting over the head — just step in and clip.
  • If your dog has lost weight due to age or illness, measure fresh — don't rely on previous sizes.
